Tara the cat who went viral in the youtube video, My cat saved my son after she  fought off a neighbours  dog that was  attacking  her owners son, has been named a hero dog. 

The cat 7, year old  was presented with the 33rd  Annual National Hero Dog Award yesterday in a break with  tradition by the judges.
